# Avalanche (C‑Chain)

Avalanche C‑Chain is the EVM lane in Avalanche’s multi‑chain architecture, designed for high throughput and rapid confirmations with the Snowman consensus family. It’s a strong choice for DeFi, NFTs, and gaming when you need Ethereum‑style contracts and fast finality.
